Quinton's collection of photographs is very successful and his use of nature is quite captivating. I love his series and even though it is a cat, my favorite photograph is the cat one. I really enjoyed his series and believe his photographs work well together. Nice!
I am genuinely fascinated by your images. I don't know how you managed to capture such dramatic, muted lighting. The motif of the leaves against the sky/water is stunning, as is the contrast that creates so much interest in many of your images. Images 3, 7, 8, 9, and 11 are lovely. I think I may make them my background on my computer.
I think the use of a lot of black is really intriguing in this series. It elicits a sense of mystery and unknown that causes the viewer to pause and take a second look at the photograph. Also, going along with your theme, the choice to use film photography really brought the a sense of antiquity. Nice job!
