For the Portrait Project, I had to take pictures of my mother. To begin the project, I looked at different pictures on Flickr to find inspiration for my photographs. Using the photographs I found on Flickr, I attempted to take similar pictures with my own spin on them. I think each of the photographs shown works because they showed emotion in the model. The first image is particularly interesting because it doesn't show the face of the model but it still shows a lot of emotion and could be interpreted in a lot of interesting ways.
